Terminus Group, a global smart services and AIoT solutions provider, officially inaugurates its international headquarters in Dubai UAE this month.

At the recent opening ceremony of its news headquarters, Terminus Founder and CEO Victor Al says Terminus International aims to play a vital role to develop AIoT solutions for urban industries such as manufacturing, transportation, and energy, and help promote the green and digital transformation across the Middle East region.

Notable attendees included Under Secretary of the Foreign Trade and Industry at the UAE Ministry of Economy HE Abdulla Al Saleh, President of Terminus International and a number of representatives from Dubai Road & Transport Authority, Emirates Post Group, and Alibaba Cloud.

HE Al Saleh congratulated the inauguration and says that this is another marker of strong trade relations between UAE and China.

“The economic and trade relations between UAE and China keeps strengthening and growing prosperously. The commercial, investment, energy, and technologies cooperation between the two nations have been deepening and achieved remarkable results. We expect the continued success of Terminus Group, one of the world’s leading technology companies, and hope that Terminus International Headquarters will support and deeply engage in the green and digital future cities development in UAE,” says HE Al Saleh.

CEO Victor AI says the opening of its headquarters in the UAE will accelerate its plans to grow its portfolio across the ME region.

“From AI to urban city technology, AIoT research and development and robotics capabilities, Terminus Group’s establishment of an international headquarters has been nothing short of a huge success, demonstrating the company’s inevitable expansion of business and comprehensive upgrade of technologies in Middle East and globally. Terminus Group had collaborated with global partners to jointly promote industrial and green cities and smart development based on its AIoT-enabled technologies. We look forward to further accelerating and optimizing businesses overseas, helping China and the world to seize the opportunities of digital economy and bringing new vitality to future cities for human well-being,” says Al.

Terminus President and Chief Scientist Dr Ling Shao agrees.

“Terminus International will continue to bear the fruit of our involvement with Expo 2020 and our international development strategy will extend further still, deeply participate in regional and cross-boarder digital economic projects and promote sustainable development globally,” says Shao.

The Middle East and Africa region plays a significant role in in the AIoT market. As of 2024, it is the second largest region in terms of IoT adoption and growth with this region expected to grow at an impressive CAGR of 27.5% during the forecast period. The global IoT market size is projected to soar from USD 544.38 billion in 2022 to a whopping USD 3,352.97 billion by 2030.

Key Factors driving growth include a surge in public administration and major smart cities initiatives, particularly in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) zones.
