Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison celebrates the opening of its Advanced Digital Intelligence Operations Centre in Jakarta this month.
The DIOC was inaugurated by Indosat Chairman Vikram Senha and Huawei APAC Chairman Simon Lin, underscoring the strategic collaboration between the two companies.
According to Senha, the Centre leverages AI technologies to provide exceptional service to more than 100 million customers across Indonesia.
Senha says that the DIOC serves as the neurobrain of Indosat network operations, providing real-time insights and proactive service management to ensure optimal network performance and reliability. This innovative hub combines a traditional Network Operations Centre (NOC) and a Service Operations Centre (SOC), ushering in a new era of smart network management and services, and enhancing the future of digital Indonesia.

According to Senha, the DIOC has advanced features such as real-time network insights, which allow Indosat to move from interactive problem solving to proactive service management, leveraging real-time data to improve network performance and reliability.
According to Lin, the opening of the centre also deepens relations between Indosat and Huawei. Together, the two companies seek to strengthen network infrastructure, accelerate digital transformation, and develop leading talent to drive the digital future of Indonesia.

Indosat has made remarkable progress in its journey towards digital transformation, achieving tangible results. By collaborating with Huawei through the Service and Managed Operations Centre, Indosat was able to complete the user-experience-centric network integration, as well as significantly improve network quality and user experience.
According to Senha, independent third-party tests showed significant improvements for Indosat In rural, urban and peri-urban areas, download speed saw a significant year-on-year increase, with 44.1% in rural areas, 43.5% in urban areas, and 43.9% in peri-urban areas, contributing to increased customer satisfaction and improved network performance. Indosat’s population coverage also increased by 12.7 million.
